A provider must complete an Adult Family Home 48 Hour Administrator Training prior to being granted a license to open an Adult Family Home.
This course meets the requirements under WAC 388-76-570 (5) and WAC 388-112-0265 through 388-112-0285
Our Instructors

We offer instructors with diverse educational and professional backgrounds. These instructors will share very useful and practical information that you can apply to running a successful home.

Our Instructors Include:
An adult family home business owner who has owned and operated a home for over 13 years. She will help you with the business principles necessary to run a successful business.

An RN with a lengthy nursing career that includes being an instructor and consultant to adult family homes. She will assist you with developing residential health services.

A registered dietitian who will help you understand therapuetic diets, how to run an efficient kitchen and develop menu plans.

A geriatric psychiatric social worker who will present mental health issues.

An occupational therapist who will assist you in developing social and recreational activities in your home.
